Review: Ford

Ford Ford by Samantha Chase
My rating: 0 of 5 stars

An amazing end to a great series. I had an inkling about Diana and her mystery man, and I was RIGHT! this series was all about overcoming hardships and prejudices of living in a small town and the realities of the Defence Force and the mark it leaves on its soldiers.
I loved Ford it was a funny story full or laughs that came around in a full circle.

Review: The Princess and the Pea

The Princess and the Pea The Princess and the Pea by A.G. Marshall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

One of the best Princess and the pea retelling I have ever read. It s very unusual for the Princesses to be warriors and for the princes to need saving. I loved how this story played out it had funny moments, sad and emotional aspects but was a beautiful retelling that captured the essence of the original tale and put a unique spin on it.

The Trolls The Trolls by Cordelia Castel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book, it was full of suspense, keeping you on your toes. The characters and story arc all underwent so changes in this book. It seems that Rilla might choose both Orson and Armin. I love the way every set of characters interacts with Rilla, they are all so different. I cannot wait to read the next book. Poor Alec, he is always in trouble.

I loved this book, it was wonderful, I could not put it down. The character development was subtle but really changed the tone of the book, it was very different from the last book. I loved how the story continued on from the end of the last book, and the ending was absolutely great, I cannot wait for the next book.

Dragon Marked Dragon Marked by Jaymin Eve
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

So different then what I thought was going to happen. Some things you can see straight up and these don't change, who likes who, how is family, what is a trap. But pretty much everything else keeps you guessing. I was kept on my toes the entire book, never knowing what was going to happen. This was a well written very different story that I loved.

Amazing.
That was not what I expected from this book. Eve seems to have upped her game in the last few years as the books are becoming more unpredictable and surprising. Every aspect of this story is surprising from beginning to end, I loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next.

Review: The Ogres

The Ogres The Ogres by Cordelia Castel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the best one yet.
So much happens during this book, that you are constantly on your toes, just waiting for the next surprise. You go from hating certain characters to loving them, and from loving a character to despising them. So much happens but also much is resolved, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next book. This book is very well written, it captures the essence of the King Rhinoceros fairytale but it is retold in such a way that makes it unique and very different. As you are reading you can see what seeds are being planted for the next book...Pus 'n' Boots?????

Review: Pretender to the Crown

Pretender to the Crown Pretender to the Crown by Melissa McShane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved it. I couldn't put it down, I was completely sucked into the story, at one point it felt like I had been injured. I am so glad this series was written, from Part 1 of Servant to the Crown, I wanted to know more about Willow North and how she became Queen.
After reading this book, I want to know even more. I noticed that the Sajian family colours were silver and blue, which are the North family colours in the Tremontane series. I loved this story, the dynamics and drama of the characters, this book is so well written that you fell all the characters emotions, all their pain and suffering with them, and are lifted by their hopes and triumphs.

This book was amazing. So many stories lines are coming together, you can definitely see the crossover of stories between this book and the last CON. I couldn't put it down, there was just so much intrigue, so many secrets, this book will suck you in and change they way you view the DH world. The family trees are becoming more complicated and yet simpler.

Review: Intensity

Intensity Intensity by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Everything we thought we knew was a lie, this books clears up so many inconsistencies that have happened that had us scratching our heads, it also clears up a lot about the Dark-Hunters timeline.
So many questions answered. That was an emotional rollercoaster, one you couldn't get off, all that pain and suffering and for what. I loved it, it answered all the questions that have been plaguing me since Illusion and Instinct. I had an inkling that they might have wiped Nick's memories and that's why Simi acted like she knew Nick in Seize the Night. I am looking forward to Cyrians books, however I am curious when the Dark-Hunter timeline will catch up to the CON timeline. When will we see Ambrose/Nick's and Nyria's love story.
Small note what is Kody's real name - Neria, Nyria or Belam she has been called all of them?

Review: Love Another Day

Love Another Day Love Another Day by Lexi Blake
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

AMAZING, Lexi scores with another addictive M&M novel. I love the way she has set up for the 6 crossover stories, the minute I read angel wings I knew he would be the main protagonist in the Lexi Blake/Larissa Ione crossover, I am so excited.
This book was terrifying and heartbreaking, just as you thought they were on the right track, BOOM. Also Alfi, you never knew whether he was good, or bad and any one point. I did notice that this book wasn't as emotionally trying as the previous in the series, maybe because the majority of the central cast are all paired up and I am not as emotionally attached to the rest...?
As an Australian I thoroughly approved of the way my country and fellow Aussies were portrayed, so thank you for that Lexi.
Another Hit for M&M.

This is the best thing I have read all year. And what great timing to discover it, right as book two is released. I was in stitches the entire length of the novel. The characters are wonderful and you can't help but want to be with them. The storyline is really good, lots of twists that you don't really see coming. I was obsessed with this book from page one, this book will have you laughing the whole way through.
