Review: Addict

Addict Addict by Lexi Blake
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Every time I read this book I fall more and more in love with the characters. Although I am not sure who I like more. At this moment I am rooting for Marcus and Gray... not Trent, I think he should remain a secondary character, like Declan, it seems to late in the series to bring in another love interest. He might be good for Summer though.

A Tangle of Hearts A Tangle of Hearts by Bella Forrest

OMG. What the hell happened here. Succubi and poor Phoenix. My new prediction is: Vita and Bijarki, Draven and Serena, Jovi and Anjani, Field and Aida...Phoenix and the Daughter???

Very interesting, however I think Henry died way to easily, such a creep. A really good modern fairytale.

Review: Firestorm

Firestorm Firestorm by Donna Grant
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

WOW was that different, a new enemy or an OLD one???? I am so excited about what could happen next, will the reapers tell the kings about Mikkel and why does the druid hate Con and Ulrik so much? I had to put aside this series for a year because it was becoming so repetitive but good work Donna, once more you have a captivated audience.

Review: A House of Mysteries

A House of Mysteries A House of Mysteries by Bella Forrest
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book, so many mysteries to solve. Poor Draven losing his eyes, and Poor Phoenix being asked to sacrifice for a woman in a shell.

Review: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Last Airbender by Gene Luen Yang
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I think there should have been a more definitive ending. but otherwise really great. I loved all the points the Sth Water Tribe made about uniting with the other Nations and opening embassies in the Nations.

Review: Deadmen Walking

Deadmen Walking Deadmen Walking by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh my God Sherrilyn, this is by far your best book ever. I have read all your books and this surpasses them all. Not just two main characters with orbiting side stories by many main characters and stories all orbiting the one narrative. Simply brilliant. I couldn't put it down, I became so immersed in story that I forget I wasn't real. Amazing, I cannot put it into words.

Review: Dragonmark

Dragonmark Dragonmark by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really loved this, it was amazing. I had one issue with this book, the switch from Illarion's POV to characters from Son of No One and Dragonbane, at these points it was like reading chapters straight from these two books, I would have prefered Illarion's POV at these points, it might have worked a bit better if the switches of perspective where more defined, I was reading Illarian and then suddenly Maxis POV so I had to go back and find the start of the different POV, which is very annoying. Other than that tiny complaint.
Amazing. Cannot wait for the next book. Yay for Falcyn.

Review: Shadowlands

Shadowlands Shadowlands by Ashley Meira
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this a lot, but the last few chapters in the Shadowlands (the place), it was very long winded and I got bored waiting for her to ignite her hellfire, I think that part could have been considerably shorter and still make all the points of the chapter(s). However I really liked the chapters from Lucas's POV.

I cannot wait to see what happens next. That was amazing one on Rick's best yet. I can't wait to see how the story develops from here. I was blown away, on the edge of my seat.
