Review: The Ogres

The Ogres The Ogres by Cordelia Castel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the best one yet.
So much happens during this book, that you are constantly on your toes, just waiting for the next surprise. You go from hating certain characters to loving them, and from loving a character to despising them. So much happens but also much is resolved, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next book. This book is very well written, it captures the essence of the King Rhinoceros fairytale but it is retold in such a way that makes it unique and very different. As you are reading you can see what seeds are being planted for the next book...Pus 'n' Boots?????

Review: The Ship of the Dead

The Ship of the Dead The Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As always Rick Riordan is always good for a laugh. Magnus Chase was a funny and fun filled adventure that kept you on the edge of your seat. I was laughing the whole time.
A great read.

Review: Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast Beauty and the Beast by Vivienne Savage
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

One of the best retellings of beauty and the Beast that I have ever read. I was dubious at first but the story and characters capture your heart.
