Darkly seductive with hints of proper English scandal thrown in. Bec has given us a glimpse into the dark complicated world she has created. This book is difficult to get into but draws you in anyway. Not my favourite book of hers but up there in the top 3. Dive into the not so hidden world of the English Occult in a time where magic is feared but seductive.
